The Round Rock Express will celebrate the beginning of the 2024 baseball season March 23, hosting a free event called Fan Fest at Dell Diamond.

What you need to know

Fan Fest runs 10 a.m.-2 p.m., offering attendees a range of activities. Guests can enjoy playing catch in the outfield, testing their skills on an inflatable bull and taking swings in the Home Run Dugout. Additional activities include:
  • Beer sampling
  • Budweiser Clydesdales photo opportunities from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
  • A caricature artist
  • Barbie and Spider-Man meet and greet
  • A bounce house
  • A petting zoo
  • Photos with Spike
  • The Railyard Team Store will be open for fans
  • Train rides
  • Wine sampling
In partnership with Round Rock Area Serving Center, Round Rock Express will also hold a donation drive during the event. Fans are asked to bring donations of nonperishable food items. Bins will be located at Home Plate Gate.

The Express play their first official game of the season March 29 at home against the Sugar Land Space Cowboys, a Houston Astros affiliate.
