A free wine festival sponsored by the city of Round Rock, Beaujolais Nights on Prete Plaza will feature wine, food and jazz on Nov. 16.

Across the world every year, wine lovers gather to celebrate the French Beaujolais Nouveau harvest the third Thursday in November.

The downtown Round Rock festivities will be for those age 21 and up, and will include live jazz music; a tasting of the Georges Duboeuf Beaujolais Nouveau; and food samples from multiple downtown restaurants, including Brass Tap and Louisiana Longhorn Cafe.

The event will also feature local artists and French film.
