Dec. 10: Make your own ornament

The city of Pflugerville is hosting an event where attendees can make their own holiday ornaments. Uptown Cheapskate officially opened Dec. 9 and is holding a grand opening event throughout the weekend. Dec. 10-11: Hometown Holiday in downtown Round Rock

Downtown Round Rock is glowing with holiday light displays until Dec. 31, and there will be live music in the parklets every Friday and Saturday of December. Dec. 11: Enjoy a holiday fair and concert at Holidays in Hutto

Dec. 11: Drive through a unique luminary scene

Residents can drive through a unique luminary display that is created by more than 50 volunteers. A project representative said the display includes nine different scenes to drive through and incorporates animals. 6:30-8:30 p.m. Free. Dec. 11: Go geocaching in Pflugerville’s parks

Explore local parks in search of hidden geocaches using a GPS-enabled device at the latest adventure in Pflugerville’s Unplug & Explore series.
