Round Rock Diwali Fest

Partnering with Taj Fashion, the city of Round Rock will host the celebration of lights known as Diwali. The festival of Diwali is a celebration of light, and street lights, food, music, cultural dance and Rangoli sand art are slated for the downtown festival. 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. Free (entry and parking). BARKtacular HOWLoween Dog Festival

Dress your pups in their best Halloween costumes and head to the Round Rock Depot for the second annual BARKtacular HOWLoween. The festival includes trick-or-treating, a costume contest, a lookalike contest, tons of pet-oriented vendors and goodie bags for all furry friends. 8-10 a.m. $5 per dog. Fall Fest + Trunk or Treat

Have you ever done a workout with a pumpkin? After visiting a local pumpkin patch to pick out ones of different sizes, make your way to this community event to use them in a pumpkin-inspired workout and decorate them. Looking for a socially distant Halloween event? This trunk-or-treat event is drive-thru style. Put on your Halloween costume, get in the car and drive around this minifestival to fill your bags with candy and see all of the stellar Halloween decorations that people use to decorate their trunks. 4-8 p.m. Free. Pfloating Pumpkin Patch

Bored of normal pumpkin patches? At “the most unique pumpkin patch in Pflugerville,” hop in the heated Gilleland Creek Pool and pick out one of the floating pumpkins to take home with you and carve or decorate for Halloween.
