Sept. 28

Music Under the Oak Tree

The University Oaks Shopping Center is kicking off its free music series that runs through mid-October with John Henry Johnson, a guitar virtuoso out of Austin. Stroll the shopping center while listening to his set, or grab a drink from participating restaurants with happy hour specials.

Sept. 29

Music on Main Street


Every Wednesday night through the end of November, head to Prete Main Street Plaza for a night of live music, snacks from food vendors and dancing. This week, enjoy a performance from honky-tonk musician Weldon Henson.

Round Rock ISD Board of Trustees approve $6.7 million in budget amendments

A $6.7 million budget amendment was approved by consent at the Round Rock ISD Board of Trustees meeting Oct. 21. The budget amendment was requested to cover planned expenses for Career and Technical Education projects, instructional professional development, equipment, substitute teachers and the increase of insurance premium costs.
