Stargazing Party & Movie in the Park
Search for stars through a telescope, listen to live music and get decked out in glow-in-the-dark gear at this out-of-this-world event in Old Settlers Park hosted by the city’s parks and recreation department. There will be free kettle corn, alcoholic beverages and sausage bites for sale, and a screening of the 1982 film "E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial". 7-10 p.m. Free. Round Rock Express vs. Tacoma Rainiers
At this Friday’s game, watch the Round Rock Express take on the Tacoma Rainiers, and watch a fireworks display light up the night sky immediately after the game. Friday is also Chick-fil-A Day, and to celebrate, the Chick-fil-A cow will be in attendance. Guests will have the chance to grab special discount offers. 7:05 p.m. Grab tickets here. TARELA Live in Concert
TARELA and other special guests will perform a fusion of afrobeats, reggae, jazz, and rhythm and blues at Banana Island Lounge and Grill on Saturday night. The red carpet event will begin an hour before the show and ladies can order free tequila shots until 11 p.m. 8 p.m.-2 a.m. Tickets are $10 online and will be available at the door for $20. PopUp Art Show
Head downtown to snatch up an original piece of art at this pop-up art show, which will have 16 local and regional artists displaying and selling their artwork. Family Movie Night for a Cause
This free event at Doublecreek Camp is the perfect weekend outing for the kids. There will be a projector on the soccer field playing "Air Bud: World Pup" with concessions available for purchase.
