Round Rock ISD administrators have completed an update to the district's five-year strategic plan, laying out goals around communication; community engagement; district and school culture; teaching and learning; staff retention; as well as facilities, infrastructure and technology with improvements to each area of district operations.

What you need to know

Administrators began working on the update to RRISD's strategic plan, which guides district operations, in October using a survey and meeting opportunities with the greater community to establish the current desires of parents, students, teachers and other folks impacted by district operations, and how the district might go about meeting these needs.

Natalie Nichols, RRISD's senior chief of schools and innovation, presented the 2024-29 plan to the board of trustees April 18.
