Rising freshmen students entering their first year of high school this fall will have several opportunities this month to participate in an information session to plan out the last four years of their time in the district.

What's happening?

Rising freshmen in RRISD and their families can choose from three dates for virtually held planning sessions to plan out which courses they will take, with consideration for post-graduate plans, such as higher education, trades or armed forces:
  • Jan. 18, noon-1 p.m.
  • Jan. 25, 5:30-6:30 p.m.
  • Jan. 30, 5:30-6:30 p.m.
Students must register in advance to participate in these sessions.

Recordings of the planning sessions will also be made available after Jan. 30, per the district.
