The big picture
The board of trustees will select a nominee to fill a seat on the WCAD board of directors at an upcoming meeting. Those interested in serving can submit resumes and letters of interest for consideration by Sept. 7.
The appraisal district will collect nominations from all of its taxing districts, and provide a ballot and list so trustees can vote on them ahead of a Dec. 15 deadline.
Explaining the role
Members of the WCAD board of directors must live in Williamson County and must have lived there for two years to be eligible for the board. Additional information about board duties and policies is available here.
