Round Rock ISD will hold a back-to-school celebration Aug. 5, providing school supplies and an opportunity to update vaccinations ahead of the new school year, which starts Aug. 15.

RRISD's back-to-school event will be held from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Aug. 5 at Stony Point High School, 1801 Tiger Trail, Round Rock. In addition to games and activities, the event will provide students and their families an opportunity to pick up school supplies and receive vaccinations. The event also marks the district's 110th year of serving the communities of Round Rock, Austin and Cedar Park. The district was first established May 17, 1913, when Williamson County residents voted to establish the Williamson County Common School District No. 19, according to RRISD information.
