Round Rock ISD is seeking volunteers and accepting donations for its annual Back to School Celebration set for Aug. 5, held in partnership with the district's Partners in Education Foundation and Texas Children's Hospital.

The gist: Those interested in signing up to volunteer for the district's back-to-school event can sign up here. The event is set for 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at Stony Point High School, located at 1801 Tiger Trail, Round Rock.

The specifics: A variety of volunteering roles, such as helping to clean up after the event, providing translations for Spanish-speaking families and greeting attendees in the parking lot, are currently listed as needing volunteers.

Lend a hand: Monetary donations and supplies for the event and supply boxes for new teachers can be received by the RRISD PIEF, which can be reached at 512-464-5600.
