Round Rock ISD students who graduate within the top 50% of their class are now guaranteed admission to Tarleton State University.

The school district and college announced a partnership to provide admission and scholarship opportunities to these students through a Distinguished High School Partnership Program on March 31.

“The Round Rock ISD and Tarleton State University distinguished school partnership empower[s] our college-bound students to earn a college degree, realize their dreams and reach their potential,” Superintendent Hafedh Azaiez said. “This partnership is a clear example of how our district prepares our students for and gives them access to higher education opportunities.”

In addition to having guaranteed admission to the four-year university that is a branch of the Texas A&M System, qualifying students will also have ACT and SAT testing requirements as well as application fees to attend the university waived.

Students with higher rankings will also receive additional scholarships to the university. More information about the partnership is available here.
