Round Rock ISD announced March 2 that all after-school activities are canceled for the day due to inclement weather.

The National Weather Service placed several Central Texas counties, including Travis and Williamson counties, under a wind advisory that is in effect from 3 p.m. to midnight March 2. The warning predicts western winds could reach up to 20-30 miles per hour with potential gusts up to 50 miles per hour. According to the NWS, winds could potentially blow around unsecured objects or knock down tree limbs.
