Shifting dates for spring break and exploring options for legal fees and representation are on the agenda for Round Rock ISD trustees’ Jan. 19 meeting.
Board members will consider whether to shift the dates for the district's 2024 spring break, previously set for March 11-15, to be aligned with The University of Texas at Austin and Austin Community College calendars. This would shift spring break by one week to March 18-23 if approved. It is listed as part of the consent agenda, although board members may ask to have them pulled for individual action.
They will could also discuss and take action regarding the district's legal fees and representation during the meeting in open session, per the meeting agenda.
Trustees implemented changes to remote public comment procedure in December. Commenters may no longer present their comments virtually, but they may address the board via recording by calling 512-488-0785 between 7:45 a.m. and 3 p.m. Jan. 19. If multiple messages are left by one person, only the first will be played, according to the district.
