Several restaurants have opened in Round Rock in recent months, including a sushi spot, breakfast eatery and Mexican restaurant. Check out the seven restaurants below:

1. Raku Ayce Sushi & Seafood Buffet

The all-you-can-eat buffet serves sushi, sashimi, rice bowls and noodles. Customers will find lobster, crab, prawns, mussels and other seafood. The restaurant also serves hots pots and dim sum, among a variety of other dishes.2. Saté Texas

The business, which previously operated out of a food truck, recently opened its first brick-and-mortar location in Round Rock.The location is in its soft opening phase and will announce a grand opening date in the coming weeks, owners Eugene and Tina Villarreal said. The restaurant’s menu features Indonesian barbecue including chicken thigh skewers and fatty pork skewers.3. Home Kitchen

Owned by head chef Daniel Melgar, the restaurant offers simple American-style breakfast and lunch with an East Coast flair. The menu includes specialty flavored pancakes, such as Oreo cookies and cream pancakes, and pastries like croissants made in-house for menu items like croissant french toast.4. Pollo Campero


Originating from Guatemala over 50 years ago, the restaurant specializes in fried and grilled chicken with family recipes passed down from generation to generation. The restaurant also offers empanadas, salads and bowls, plus unique sides like sweet plantains and yuca fries.5. Atithi Grill and Bar

The restaurant focuses on South East Asian-Indian, Nepali and Pakistani cuisine. The menu features samosas, curries, noodles, wings and a variety of other dishes. The location hosts events throughout the year and is available for private event booking.6. Halal Bros.

The Middle Eastern grill serves street food, such as beef, lamb or chicken shawarma over rice, in a wrap or on a salad. Brothers Ahmad, Mohamad, Salee and Mahmoud Attal are from New York and opened the original food truck in downtown Austin.7. La Tapatia Restaurant & Bar

The restaurant reopened in the Rock Creek plaza after relocating to a new unit within the same shopping center. Locally owned by Juan Luis and Maria Elena Hernandez, the restaurant offers a variety of tacos, tostadas, Mexican-style plates and more. The eatery also offers breakfast.
