1. Burger King

The fast-food chain Burger King has a new location in Hutto.

The restaurant serves burgers, including the Whopper, as well as chicken and fish sandwiches, wraps and breakfast items. The new location is situated in between Dutch Bros Coffee and Take 5 Oil Change.

2. Happy Panini

Happy Panini is planning to open its first brick-and-mortar location in downtown Hutto. The family-run business, owned by Chris and Gina Auditore, has operated out of a food truck since 2020, offering a variety of paninis.

The menu features items like the Hello Sunshine, which comes with smoked ham, turkey, provolone, Asiago cheese, tomato, pickles, mixed greens and garlic parmesan mayo; and the Carmine, including smoked ham, salami, pepperoni, provolone, Asiago cheese, roasted red peppers, banana peppers, tomato, mixed greens and red wine vinaigrette.3. Gen Korean BBQ House held its grand opening Oct. 26 after starting the permitting process in January. The restaurant serves meats, seafood and vegetables, as well as traditional Korean banchan.4. Jersey Mike’s Subs

Jersey Mike’s Subs is now open in Hutto.

The Morning Ritual coffee shop and The Goat restaurant opened to the public on June 20 in Pflugerville’s Stone Hill Town Center.

The restaurant serves Mexican comfort food with breakfast, lunch and dinner options. The menu features tacos, quesadillas, enchiladas, burritos, parrilladas and other items. The chain has other locations in the Austin area as well as throughout San Antonio and southern Texas.8. Chopsticks


Chopsticks, a restaurant serving Asian fusion cuisine, is now open in Hutto. The menu at Chopsticks includes small bites, such as gua bao buns, chili jam chicken wings and bulgogi fries. Patrons will also find Vietnamese noodle soup, pork spareribs and firecracker shrimp, among a variety of other dishes.

The business is located in the former space of Now, Dats Boba, which closed in mid-April.9. Casa Jalisco Sports Bar and Grill

Casa Jalisco Sports Bar and Grill offers authentic Mexican cuisine combined with a sports bar atmosphere. The menu includes dishes like enchiladas, fajitas and more, served with rice and beans. Customers will also find a churro dessert wagon, while the bar is stocked with a variety of beer, cocktails and spirits.10. BarnYen

BarnYen serves a variety of traditional Thai food, including fried rice, curry and pad thai. The Thai word BarnYen translates to mean four o’clock flower, which is one of the most commonly grown species of the Mirabilis plant, according to the company’s website. The flowers usually open from late afternoon or at dusk, typically 4-8 p.m. These flowers emit a powerful, sweet fragrance during the night and subsequently close in the morning.
