The Old Settlers Park expansion is moving closer to completion, with the Rock’N River water park nearing the finish line and expected to open in time for the summer, according to a city update.
What’s happening?
Rock’N River is one of several projects included in the broader expansion of Round Rock’s largest park.
More recently, the city also provided updates on the Joanne Land Playground and the newly opened pickleball courts.
Plans include a new river-style attraction, private cabana spaces and expanded parking. The upgrades are expected to increase capacity while introducing a faster-paced experience for visitors.
The project will also connect the water park to the future recreation center, allowing for more coordinated operations and shared access between the two facilities.
City officials said the water park is expected to open in the summer and have already released the 2026 operating calendar.
Additional details on pricing and availability are available on the city’s website.
