The Dell Technologies headquarters in Round Rock will undergo an expansion starting next month.

Overview

The company is planning to renovate about 6,700 square feet of its Round Rock campus by removing conference rooms to create a larger “innovation center showroom,” according to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.

The project, which is expected to start in early September and be completed in late December, will cost an estimated $1.7 million. The building is located at 2300 Greenlawn Blvd., Round Rock.

What else?

The city of Round Rock and Dell Inc. extended in 2024 an economic development agreement, originally signed in 1993, from 60 years to 106 years. The agreement allowed for the tech company to locate its global headquarters in Round Rock in 1994, and has resulted in over $429 million in sales tax revenue for the city of Round Rock.
