City documents state that developer Verona Finance LLC is asking city officials to approve these measures to allow for a townhouse development proposed to bring up to 710 units to the area, based on the planned unit development zoning parameters of 10 units per acre.
Brad Wiseman, Round Rock Planning and Development Services Department director, said the property already has road access from stubs at Toscano Trace and Fisciano Lane in the Salerno and Siena neighborhoods bordering it.
The tract is currently located within the city's extraterritorial jurisdiction, outside of the city limits. Details of the proposed housing project show that it would have 13.6 acres of centrally located open space and 2,230 linear feet of trails if approved.
