Two businesses providing hair services have recently opened in Round Rock or are set to open soon.

oZen Salon and Spa

oZen Salon and Spa relocated from Anderson Lane to 107 S. Lewis St., Ste. 140, Round Rock, in early June.

Owned by Kerem and Kara Ozen, the salon offers hair services from coloring and highlights to haircuts and styling. Kara Ozen, a paramedical esthetician, offers lash, body and makeup services, including skin peels, transdermal facials, lash extensions, lipo laser, skin tightening, and airbrush makeup.

The new space is part of a mixed-use development owned by Brent Campbell, a broker with Don Quick & Associates, comprising four tenant suites on the ground level and two apartments on the second floor.

HairWeavon

The first U.S. location of Dublin, Ireland-based wig and topper shop HairWeavon will open in Round Rock by the end of August, bringing a variety of solutions to hair loss with it. Owned by Ariel Rawlings, the shop will be located at 2711 La Frontera Blvd., Ste. 110, Room 406, Round Rock, inside My Salon Suites.

Rawlings said she connected with Yinka Martin, who created HairWeavon in 2011 to assist men and women facing hair loss. Rawlings said she herself has lost her hair due to alopecia and is looking forward to helping Round Rock-area clients.

"From something that started as two women from two different countries connecting on Instagram, I am looking forward to opening the first HairWeavon in the United States and connecting with the hair loss community in Central Texas," Rawlings said. "I will be providing them with the support and resources I wish I had when I lost my hair three years ago."

Once her business opens, Rawlings will offer private consultations with clients to choose their preferred wig or hair topper style.
