Two new coffee shops opened at the end of March in Round Rock, bringing new beverage and breakfast options to the area.

Dutch Bros. Coffee

A grand opening for the third Round Rock location of Dutch Bros. Coffee at 2630 S. A.W. Grimes Blvd., Round Rock, was held March 31. Drinkle Coffee

Hema Kannan and Kannan Radhakrishnan opened Drinkle Coffee on Feb. 15 at 601 Conservation Drive, Austin. Formerly the Brushy Creek Cafe, the new owners took over in mid-2022. The coffee shop offers a variety of coffee beverages, including its signature Selfieccino, a latte with an image printed in the foam, as well as tea and kombucha. Dinkle Coffee also serves breakfast tacos, breads, cookies, scones and other pastries.

Hema Kannan said the cafe's mission is spreading positive vibes, one cup at a time. To do this, the business asks customers to leave encouraging notes for future patrons on sticky notes.

“I feel like there's magic in receiving a positive note from a stranger,” Kannan said.
