Since its founding in 1938, Rodeo Austin has hosted professional rodeos, stock shows and galas as well as youth and agriculture programs.

Ryan Sanders Sports & Entertainment's hospitality branch provides food and beverage services at nine facilities in Texas, including the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, H-E-B Center in Cedar Park and Dell Diamond in Round Rock. Ryan Sanders Sports & Entertainment serviced nearly 2.5 million Central Texas guests through its hospitality services in 2019, per the release.
Prior to the announcement, Ryan Sanders Sports & Entertainment partnered with Rodeo Austin to host "Bulls in the Ballpark" at Dell Diamond. The two-day event featured bull-riding from the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association, per the release.
