Oct. 5: First Fall Music on Main

The first Music on Main event of the season will feature Carolyn Wonderland in downtown Round Rock. The event will be held at Centennial Plaza as Sharon Prete Plaza is closed for the construction of a stage covering. 7-9 p.m. Free. Centennial Plaza, 301 W. Oct. 7: Family fun for a cause

Friday Fun Nights will return at Yonders Point in Old Settlers Point with live music, cornhole and more at the third annual People and Parks BBQ Fundraiser. Money raised at the event will go toward the fund. Each barbecue plate will include brisket, sausage and all the fixings. 7:30-9:30 p.m. $15 per plate. Oct. 7-8: Support local artists at the Chalk Walk

The annual Round Rock Chalk Walk Arts Festival returns with local artists creating chalk murals on sidewalks. The event draws tens of thousands of people and includes dozens of artists, vendors, kids activities, food, drinks, theatrical performances and a concert each night. 2-9 p.m. (Oct. 7), 9 a.m.-7 p.m. (Oct. 8).
