Frontier Bank of Texas held a grand opening celebration March 3 for its newest branch at 7509 O’Connor Drive, Round Rock. The Elgin-headquartered community bank renovated an existing building to include a customer lobby, drive-up banking, night deposit and ATM services. Bar Louie at 270 Bass Pro Drive, Round Rock, was scheduled to open in March but was delayed until April, according to a company representative. The gastropub’s menu includes burgers, pasta, seafood, cocktails and beer. www.barlouie.com

Geode Health will open a practice in Wyoming Springs Medical Center at 7200 Wyoming Springs Drive, Round Rock, in early May, according to a representative. On March 8, Shake Shack representatives confirmed plans to open a Round Rock location but stated an opening date is not yet set, nor did they confirm an exact location. However, a city site development permit for a location at 1402 N. I-35 bears the company name.
