From restaurants to coffee shops to retail and beyond, the Round Rock area is attracting new businesses at a rapid rate. The following list details a small sample of businesses that are now open in the city.

Cornerstone Automotive opened its garage doors at 2225 E. Palm Valley Blvd., Round Rock, on May 3. The shop is owned by Chris Heimann, who is originally from Houston. Heimann said his car maintenance hobby grew into a career, which allowed him to open his first shop in Round Rock. He said Cornerstone Automotive prides itself on quality, attention to detail, ability to get things done in a timely manner and accuracy of repair recommendations. 512-582-0079

Happy Clouds Smoke & Vape opened its fourth location at 602 E McNeil Rd. #114, Round Rock on April 9. The smoke shop, which started in south Austin, carries branded merchandise, various types of smoking apparatus as well as snacks and sodas. 512-215-9399 www.happycloudssmokeshop.com



PetSuites opened a new location in Round Rock at the beginning of May at 15940 Great Oaks Drive, Round Rock. PetSuites offers services that include boarding, day care, grooming and training. The new location has also partnered with Great Oaks Animal Hospital in order to facilitate a more complete pet care experience. Rhae, a size-inclusive clothing boutique located at 306 W. Main St., Round Rock, held a grand opening on June 12. The retailer offers clothing in sizes ranging from XXS-6X. According to the company website, Rhae was created when its owner saw a lack of cute clothing available in extended sizes. www.shoprhae.com

Starbucks opened another Round Rock location June 7. The location at 1951 N. I-35, Round Rock, features a drive-thru, according to a Starbucks spokesperson. Construction of the store began March 1 with an estimated cost of $666,336, according to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. 737-910-0019. www.starbucks.com
