The city of Round Rock will close the intersection of Chisholm Trail Road and CR 173 from June 2-12 for planned construction.

Crews will reconstruct the intersection with a new right-turn lane from Chisholm Trail onto CR 173, per a May 29 news release. The intersection will also include new through lanes to the Chisholm Trail Trade Center.

Throughout the length of construction, CR 173 will be closed west of the Micro-Bac driveway, and Chisholm Trail will be closed at its CR 173 intersection.

Traffic will be rerouted to the I-35 southbound frontage road to Wolle Lane, which will then allow access to Chisholm Trail, per the release. Traffic leaving businesses along Chisholm Trail between CR 173 and Wolle will be relocated to Wolle or West Old Settlers Boulevard for access to the I-35 southbound frontage road, per the release.
