The city of Pflugerville will begin a pavement rehabilitation and reconstruction project on a portion of the pavement on Grand Avenue Parkway on Nov. 6. The project will be completed in two phases over the following 90 days, weather permitting.

Phase 1 of the project will begin south of Pflugerville Parkway and end north of the Gilleland Creek bridge. The city anticipates that this portion of the project will be completed in mid-December. Once this phase is completed, traffic patterns north of Black Locust Drive will return to the normal. During this time, the city will also complete the construction of a new traffic light at the intersection of Grand Avenue Parkway and Black Locust Drive.

Phase 2 will begin south of the Gilleland Creek bridge and end at the city limit near Viki Lynn Place.

Each phase will require traffic to be moved to one side of the roadway, leaving a single lane open for each direction at all times.
