All parks maintained by the city of Pflugerville will be closed Easter weekend, city staff announced April 4.

Park closures will last from Friday, April 10 at 8 a.m. until Monday, April 13 at 8 a.m., according to the city's news release. The closures are intended to prevent overcrowding that could lead to the spread of COVID-19, per the release.

The city's decision to close the parks for Easter weekend follows an announcement that all Travis County-maintained parks would close for the duration of the holiday weekend.

A stay at home order is still in effect for Travis and Williamson county residents at this time.
