According to county officials, the project additionally included left and right-hand turn lanes, culverts, water-quality facilities, retaining walls and construction of sidewalk along parts of RM 620. In all, the RM 620 widening project cost $6.3 million and took 17 months to complete. TxDOT will now move to re-stripe the existing four-lane section to a six-lane section from Cornerwood Drive to Wyoming Springs Drive, per county officials.
