The Round Rock City Council showed its appreciation for City Manager Laurie Hadley by increasing her salary Thursday night.
An increase of $10,000 and a one-time payment of $5,000 were unanimously passed by the council after a 90-minute executive session.

The raise takes her base pay to $210,000.
“It’s an amazing year we’ve had,” Mayor Alan McGraw said. “Look at projects like Kalahari, it’s symbolic of the great job you’ve been doing as city manager.”
Hadley said she couldn’t do it without her team.
“As long as they stay with me, we’re in great shape,” Hadley said.
Hadley was named city manager Jan. 8, 2015, after serving as interim city manager for three months.
She has 26 years of experience in local government. Hadley was deputy city manager in Prescott, Ariz. and served as acting city manager in Prescott in 2011.
The city manager’s office handles general administration of the city and executes the policies and objectives of the council. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University and a master’s in public administration from Northern Arizona University.
