Relocation/expansion: Palermo Pasta House

Palermo Pasta House will relocate in downtown Round Rock to its new location at 121 E. Main St., Round Rock, co-owner Maria-Elena Giner confirmed in an email. The restaurant will temporarily close its current location at 112 E. Main St., Round Rock, on Dec. 20 and will reopen at its new one in February 2021. Its upcoming location will include a larger dining area, an outdoor patio, booths made to meet COVID-19 safety requirements and a pasta production area where customers can purchase freshly made pasta. Dauren Asrymbetov took over ownership of Pflugerville's Horace Mann office from previous owner John Ryan on Oct. 1. Asrymbetov runs a multiple-line insurance agency that includes home, auto and life insurance, along with retirement planning services.
