The city has implemented cart-only curbside collection services, adding that the reopened center will allow those with excess recyclables and tree limbs to dispose of them in a timely manner.
All drop-offs at the Pflugerville Recycling Center will be conducted with no contact in an effort to help mitigate the spread of the coronavirus, per the release. Customers are required to pull up to the attendant with their windows closed and display their I.D. to confirm city residency.
The center will be open on Friday, Saturday and Monday from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Compost and mulch will not be available to residents until further notice, per the release.
