Pflugerville City Council
Pflugerville City Council candidates Ceasar Ruiz, Rudy Metayer and David Rogers won their respective races for three open council seats. Unofficial ballot results from Williamson County and Travis County voters for all three Pflugerville City Council races have also been accounted for.
Place 2 candidates included Ruiz and Victor To, each vying for Pflugerville City Council Member Jeff Marsh's open seat. Marsh announced in July he would not be seeking re-election.
Preliminary results reveal Ruiz collected 13,995 votes between voters in Travis and Williamson counties, while To earned 9,579.
Place 4 featured incumbent Rudy Metayer against challenger Bob Reichenbach. From unofficial results, Metayer earned 15,774 votes, as compared to Reichenbach's 7,678.
For Place 6, challenger David Rogers beat incumbent Jim McDonald as of late Nov. 3. Rogers received 11,890 votes, and McDonald collected 11,001.
Pflugerville ISD
From Pflugerville ISD, challenger Jean Mayer beat Place 6 incumbent Larry Bradley. Mayer accumulated 28,165 votes, as compared to Bradley's 22,872, from both Williamson and Travis counties.
In the Place 7 race, candidates Cindy Gee and Charlie Torres earned 30,898 votes and 21,620 votes, with Gee clinching the seat. Gee and Torres vied for Board Member Rob Reyes' position following his announcement that he would not seek re-election this year.
Pflugerville three-part bond election
Preliminary results from Pflugerville's November bond election indicate approval for all three propositions under consideration.
Proposition A, which pertains to $101.7 million in transportation projects, received 17,958 votes for and 8,376 votes against. Proposition B, which outlines $42.3 million in parks projects, reported 17,297 votes for and 8,933 votes against. Proposition C, which marks $47.3 million for a proposed senior and recreation center, collected 14,738 votes for 11,047 against.
Results are unofficial until they are canvassed and certified by the county clerk. Under Texas election law, the clerk accepts and counts mail-in ballots postmarked by Election Day and received by Nov. 4, if they were sent from inside the U.S., or Nov. 9, if they were sent from outside the U.S.
For the Pflugerville bond election, official results will not be released until the city's canvass of the votes Nov. 17, the city announced Nov. 4.
