As Round Rock residents head out to vote this Election Day, the road to the polls will be a free bus ride away.

The city of Round Rock will provide free rides on all city bus routes Nov. 3 in partnership with the Capital Metropolitan Transit Authority's "Ride to Vote" initiative. The city's star shuttle paratransit buses will also be available as part of the initiative, per a city news release, and residents will be asked to abide by all typical reservation procedures. Masks will be required on all Capital Metro buses.

A list of Capital Metro's bus routes in relation to polling sites is available online, via Capital Metro's Trip Planner online feature and on its app, per the release. Outlined polling locations include both Travis and Williamson counties, according to the release.
