It is the final inning for Round Rock ISD's class of 2020, and the Round Rock Express will honor their achievements with personalized messages at Dell Diamond, the team announced May 6. The Round Rock Express, in partnership with Dell Technologies, will display names, photos and messages to graduates on Dell Diamond's marquee along Hwy. 79.

“Dell Diamond has been the home of countless milestone events for high school seniors over the years, including proms, graduation ceremonies, graduation parties and sports banquets," said Chris Almendarez, Round Rock Express president, in the announcement. "Our hearts go out to the seniors in the Class of 2020 that cannot experience these memories in the traditional sense, so with the help of Dell Technologies, we wanted to do something special for them."

The team's graphic designers will create marquee messages for graduates, free of charge. Submissions can also display the messages on a date of the graduate's choosing, according to the May 6 release.

The displays are set to begin at 9 a.m. on May 25, with messages cycled through alphabetically and submissions displayed for a minimum of 10 seconds each, per the release. The messages will run on loop for 24 hours, until 9 a.m. the following morning.

Up to 100 messages will be displayed each day from May 25-29. Depending on the number of submissions, additional days can be added to the schedule as needed. Graduates are welcomed to park in Dell Diamond's Suite Lot to view the displays, per the release.

Submissions of the graduate's name, photo and message will be due by 5 p.m. on May 20, per the release. Graduate entries can be made here.

"We look forward to sharing these messages not only with friends and family of the graduates, but with the thousands of people who pass by Dell Diamond along Highway 79 each day," Almendarez said.
