The second annual STEM Nation event hosted by Hutto ISD was held May 19 at the East Williamson County Higher Education Center in Hutto.
The event aims to display the science, technology, engineering and mathematics, or STEM, curriculum taught throughout the district. Hands-on activities and exhibits were led by students.
“We wanted to show the community what we’re teaching in class, what we’re doing and how it relates to the world,” said Andrew Haub, a Hutto Middle School robotics teacher.
