A sign confirms a new Goodwill Star Ranch retail store is being built along southbound FM 685 at Priem Road, Hutto. Land is being cleared for the new building on the north side of the intersection, which is just west of SH 130 and south of Gattis School Road. The project permit shows an end date of March 22, 2018. Another Goodwill Central Texas store is located at 560 Hwy. 79, Hutto. An employee there referred inquiries about the new store to the corporate offices. Messages for more information were left with a district manager at the Austin main offices. Another retail location is located at 1701 FM 685 in Pflugerville. Goodwill Central Texas has more than 30 retail locations, boutiques and outlets. Goodwill was established in Austin in 1958 and helps more than 13,000 people each year find stable employment on their own. The stores and donations help fund the programs of Goodwill.
