A deal is pending for the A.J. Nelson Crier House, also known as the Round Rock mansion.

Realtor Susan deGraffenried and city officials hinted the new buyer may look at changing the use of the house, which has always been a single-family residence since construction was completed in 1900.

The three-story mansion with 8 bedrooms and 4 ½ bathrooms is zoned mixed-use limited, which the city said could mean a bed and breakfast or other uses.

deGraffenried’s office provided several photos of the house, taken at the end of 2016 when the house was listed for sale for $2.5 million.
