Pflugerville City Council Place 3 contestant Adeline Bui withdrew her application for candidacy Friday, city of Pflugerville officials confirmed Monday morning.

As a result, council members Omar Peña and Mike Heath, incumbents for places 3 and 5 respectively, will run unopposed. There are no write-in candidates for the Pflugerville City Council election, per city documents.

Council is set to vote Tuesday night to cancel the general election Nov. 6, 2018 and elect Peña and Heath for the positions of Council member Place 3 and Place 5.

The city of Pflugerville will still hold elections for a $21.1 million general obligation bond proposition Nov. 6.
