With more than 75 percent of the vote at 9:34 p.m., Hutto Mayor Pro Tem Tom Hines has won his re-election bid for Hutto City Council, Place 2.
“I am very honored and humbled that the citizens of Hutto feel I have their best interests in heart, and we’re moving in the right direction with the economic development we're kickstarting,” Hines said Saturday night.
Hines has served on the Hutto City Council since May 2015 and has worked for the Hutto Fire Rescue and Williamson County ESD #3 for 16 years.
Gay McMillan ran against Hines and received 109 votes, or 24.6 percent.
