With 565 votes, or 33.2 percent, Mary Kimmins was re-elected for the Pflugerville ISD board of trustees, Place 1 seat Saturday night.

Kimmins has served on the Pflugerville ISD board of trustees since 2015, according to her biography on the Pflugerville ISD website. Kimmins currently works as the ESL Program Director for the Intensive American English Institute and previously worked for the Pflugerville ISD for three decades as a teacher and administrator.

Kimmins was challenged by Matt Robertson, who brought in 137 votes, or 8.05 percent; Charlie Torres, who brought in 450 votes for 26.44 percent; and Brian Allen, who received 550 total vote, or 32.31 percent.
