Before the window for public feedback closes, the city of Hutto is asking for resident participation in the city’s Mobility Master Plan – a planning document that encompasses several aspects of the city’s transportation and infrastructure grid.
A public feedback period on the Mobility Master Plan has been open since Jan. 18, though the window for online comment closes Feb. 20. Hutto residents can submit feedback to the city by completing a survey (available online here) and emailing their responses to the city, or residents can add feedback directly on an interactive map on the city’s website.
The Mobility Master Plan will look at Hutto city limits, the Hutto extraterritorial jurisdiction and urban growth area, and will include planning for walking, biking, driving, transit and freight systems. Several other planning considerations are included in the Mobility Master Plan, as well, including spacing standards for streets and sidewalks, traffic impact fee schedules, recommended land use and more.
Residents have a final opportunity to provide comment at a second Mobility Master Plan open house Feb. 28 at Hutto City Hall.
