Pflugerville city officials agree the Living Spaces construction at SH 45 and Heatherwilde Boulevard is causing a stir from drivers that see the 530,000-square-foot building quickly rising.
"They are moving fast on the building," City Manager Brandon Wade said. "To see cranes there and at the hospital [shows progress.]" The Baylor Scott & White Medical Center, Pflugerville, is being built at the northeast corner of SH 130 and Pflugerville Parkway.
Just north on SH 130, at SH 45, Costco construction will soon start, city officials said. Costco is slated to be open mid 2018.
Living Spaces, a California-based furniture retailer, is a destination furniture store and warehouse. The store will open late 2018.
