On Saturday, Sept. 23, Black Pflugerville will host an open candidate forum for candidates running for seats on Pflugerville City Council. The nonprofit organization works to serve as a hub for all persons and organizations of the African Diaspora.
The candidates include:
- Rudy Metayer, running for Place 4
- George Lueck, running for Place 4
- Adeline Bui, running for Place 2
- Jeff Marsh, running for Place 2
- Victor Johnson, running for Place 6
- Jim McDonald, running for Place 6
The forum will take place at Bahadi's Chicken and Lounge at 907 FM 685, Pflugerville from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. The event will also be live-streamed on the organization's Facebook page.
Each candidate will have a total of two minutes each to answer questions from the moderator or audience.
