A new business deal for the city of Hutto will be announced Thursday at 6 p.m. during a press conference at City Hall, 401 W. Front St.

Officials said in a release the new project will encompass a total of 2.5 million square feet of space, with the first phase at approximately 1 million square feet.

Speakers will include:

  • Hutto Mayor Doug Gaul

  • City Manager Odis Jones

  • representatives from the development company

  • Hutto Economic Development board chairman Mario Perez

  • Hutto ISD Superintendent Doug Killian

  • Emergency Services District President Bill Brown
