Update: 10:37 a.m. Tuesday: Approximately a half-hour ago, city of Pflugerville and Manville Water Supply Corp. officials canceled a boil water notice following lab results that confirmed the drinking water supply is safe to drink again. A broken water line on Windmill Ranch Road early Monday prompted the notice for several parts of the city, including the Commons of Rowe Lane as well as all Blackhawk and Avalon subdivisions. Water was rerouted by Manville to maintain service and water pressure, but the boil water notice was issued until water quality could be confirmed. Update: 9:12 a.m. Tuesday: According to the city of Pflugerville, lab results are expected back today and the boil water alert continues. Update: 2:36 p.m.: Manville Water Supply Corp. listed the following Hutto, Round Rock and Pflugerville extra-terratorial jurisdiction areas affected by the boil water alert:

Update: 9:43 a.m.: Approximately 2,400 homes have been affected by the water line leak off Windmill Ranch. A boil water notice has been issued. Customers in the Blackhawk, Commons at Rowe Lane and Avalon subdivisions will be without water or experience low water pressure until approximately 10 a.m. Customers need to boil water prior to consumption. To ensure destruction of all harmful bacteria and other microbes, water for drinking, cooking and making ice should be boiled and cooled prior to use until further notice. The water should be brought to a vigorous, rolling boil and boiled for two minutes. In lieu of boiling water, purchase bottled water. Update 9:34 a.m.: The subdivisions affected are municipal utility districts located just east of the Pflugerville city limits. The subdivisions are served by Manville Water Supply Corp. The city of Pflugerville public works division contacted Manville Water Supply Corp. after a Manville water leak caused a disruption of service for several subdivisions along Kelly Lane east of SH 130. Commons of Rowe Lane, Blackhawk and Falcon Pointe are without water or experiencing low water pressure. There is a leak off Windmill Ranch. Manville crews are working to reroute water, the city said in a release. The city will keep residents updated at www.pflugervilletx.gov.
