After a year of redesign, Pflugerville has relaunched its city website with a new design and mobile purpose. The website launched Wednesday.

The new city site features integrated social media and a commitment to more mobile use.

"I'm very excited about this launch because it includes a number of firsts for Pflugerville: fully mobile templates, extensive user testing, new subsites and it incorporates the city's active social media and videos prominently into the site," Digital Content Web Specialist James Buratti said.

The city has also added additional sub websites in the redesign, focusing on parks and recreation, library and utility billing.

Overall, the website was designed with mobile in mind, first and foremost. Buratti said the majority of Pflugerville's website traffic comes from cell phones, so the city custom fit their design as a result.

Buratti said he will continue working on the site to incorporate citizen feedback.

"We'll continue to test the site and make improvements," he said. "No website is ever complete...You can always make it better."
