Round Rock Alan McGraw[/caption] On a Friday morning radio program, host Bob Cole asked Round Rock Mayor Alan McGraw whether or not he would be running for re-election in May. After serving close to nine years as mayor and seven years on City Council, McGraw announced he would not be seeking another term as mayor. He said he and his wife made the decision together and he looks forward to spending more time with friends and family and relaxing more upon retirement. "My wife and I have been talking about this for a long time, and after about 16 years of this service, I am hanging up the cleats," McGraw said. McGraw said he felt like he was leaving the city in a good place with solid leadership on city council and a great city staff. Elections will take place in May.
