The Pflugerville Chamber of Commerce held its annual banquet and awards ceremony on March 2 at Dell Diamond to honor businesses and members throughout the community.

These are the award winners:

  • Large Business of the Year: Stone Hill Town Center. The large shopping destination was honored for its ability to attract businesses to the area and for being the city's largest generator of tax revenue for the last ten years.

  • Small Business of the Year: Pecan Street Station Deli and Grill. The Chamber said the restaurant has garnered immense popularity since it opened in 2000.

  • Contributor of the Year: The Storehouse. The Storehouse's founders Jack and Sandra Cochrun started the organization in 2003 to provide food and encouragement to anyone needed it and has never turned anyone away. Over the years, the organization has served more than 7,700 families and provided more than 300,000 pounds of food.

  • 2016 Chair's Award: Coletta Haskin. Haskin has served in a variety of roles with the Chamber, including within the Investor Services Department, as a leader of the Ambassador Program and on the Board of Directors.
