What we reported Pflugerville’s first hotel, the 70-room Best Western Plus Pflugerville Inn & Suites, opened in June. The hotel is a $6 million facility that has meeting space for 90 people.

Construction continues on Pflugerville’s second hotel, the Courtyard Marriott hotel and conference center at the corner of Impact Way and Pecan Street near SH 130 in Pflugerville. The 142-room hotel will cost more than $20 million and feature a 20,000-square-foot conference center.

The latest Work continues on the exterior and interior of the Courtyard Marriott, which will open next to the Best Western Plus. According to Amy Madison, Pflugerville Community Development Corp. executive director, the hotel will open in the spring. A target date has not been announced.

What’s next Next to the Courtyard Marriott, a piece of property was sold to build another Marriott property, a Fairfield Inn & Suites. Madison said a construction schedule has not been announced.
